A Day in the Life
Knowledge Link is seeking a junior level sourcing recruiter to provide resource management support for the company's technical and SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Assistance) positions.
Time Well Spent
Specific duties include:
Engage in sourcing prospective candidates, matching qualifications against position requirementsScreen candidates via phone calls and regular engagementHave a tenacious drive to locate and screen resumes ensuring resumes contain the information required for the scope of workCoordinate and schedule in-person and/or phone interviews Establish rapport with candidates, taking steps to ensure positive candidate experiencesMust have strong ability to tell the Knowledge Link story so the candidate understands our employee-centric culture and top of mark benefits. Maintain accurate notes in the applicant tracking system, personal and corporate databases and ensure that all information in collated and available for company use.Attend company meetings and prioritize work responsibilities with minimal oversight.Source candidates to fill fully-funded positions.Source top talent for proposed task orders.Participate in employment branding initiatives.Be an active collaborate with the KL recruitment team so that candidate status is known and available at all times.
Qualified Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
1+ years of technical sourcing experience within a growing technical firm or agency. A degree in accounting, business, communications or related fieldA good business acumen, be well-organized with the ability to provide accurate data results.Outgoing personality and ability to communicate information clearlyDesire to learn about and become a part of the Government/Intelligence CommunityProficient use of social medial and job boardsStrong MS Office skillsWillingness to understand the duties and competencies of different rolesDesire to learn new methods for sourcing and screeningMust roll with rejection, have tenacious drive on the phone, and persistence personalityMust have consistent follow-up with all candidates
Exceptional Candidate
Position will entail a background investigation. All candidates must be in good moral standing as Knowledge Link works on classified material. Individual will have the opportunity to begin clearance process up to TS/SCI.
