Description: You will be a Tool/Fab Inspector for the Machining Operations Center or the Sensors Integration and Test Center team. Our team is responsible for utilizing the latest manufacturing capabilities to produce advanced weapon and sensor technology, from ultra-precision machining and additive manufacturing to complex optical components and electronic systems.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Tool/Fab Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting tooling, composites, machined parts, and subassemblies to ensure dimensional conformity and adherence to design requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments, including GD&T calculations
• Setting up and operating state-of-the-art equipment, such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and surface plates
• Accepting or rejecting items based on specifications and engineering drawings
• Capturing inspection planning and acceptance data using software

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Must have the ability to work different shifts (1st / 2nd / weekend shift) at times based on seniority prioritization in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW.

Must have the ability to work overtime including weekends depending on Business Unit needs.

Basic Qualifications:
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to
obtain a Secret security clearance

Experience with:
-Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
-Mechanical Quality inspection.
-CMM and/or CNC
-Engineering/blueprint drawing reading/interpretation.
-Precision measurement tools.

-Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
-SAP experience.
-Tool inspection/Calibration/Metrology experience.
-Ability to perform manual measurements.
-Experience with aerospace hardware.
-Familiar with military specifications.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
