Description:You will be a Quality Inspector responsible for performing a variety of inspection operations on mechanical parts and installations, including completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices, and detail parts. What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Perform a variety of inspection operations of mechanical parts and installations fabricated and/or assembled such as; completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices and detail parts on manufacturing prototype, production development and/or production programs.
• Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Applied knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on a team
• High school degree or equivalent
• Must be able to:
o Read and interpret Engineering drawings
o Use precision measurement equipment
o Use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
Desired Skills:
• Mechanical inspection experience
• CMM experience
• Knowledge of inspection theory
• Experience performing dimensional and layout measurements on complex tooling

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
