Description
SAIC is seeking a Solution Train Engineer to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
As the Solution Train Engineer you will coordinate across Government and Contractor Development Teams to track progress, gather performance metrics, and resolve issues or blockers impacting the implementation of the Agile systems engineering process. Additionally, you will work closely with the Future Ground Systems Integration (FGSI) Team to manage meetings, refine, and update Solution Epic and related artifacts.
Key Responsibilities to include:
Coordinate planning and execution of Systems Engineering increments and events with a focus on the HIVE system. Facilitate collaboration across Government and Contractor Development Teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. Track project progress and gather performance metrics to ensure project milestones are met. Analyze data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and performance. Identify and resolve issues or blockers impacting the implementation of Agile systems engineering processes. Work proactively to mitigate risks and ensure timely resolution of challenges. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth and efficient project execution. Coordinate with the Future Ground Systems Integration (FGSI) Team on managing and facilitating meetings. Refine and update Solution Epics and related artifacts (e.g., Technical Baseline Review/Technical Baseline Exchange (TBR/TBX), Government/Requirement (G/R's)). Ensure alignment of project goals with strategic objectives and requirements. Ensure adherence to Agile systems engineering processes and methodologies. Foster an Agile mindset within the teams and promote continuous improvement. Support the implementation of Agile practices and principles to enhance project outcomes. Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including technical teams, project managers, and executives. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to project planning, progress, and performance. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Proven experience with Agile systems engineering processes and methodologies. Strong understanding of HIVE systems and related technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience in gathering and analyzing performance metrics to drive project success.
