Description:Join Our Team as an Printed Circuit Board ECAD Design Checker where you will review Printed Circuit Board documentation for Engineering release for all Programs in Space.
Location: Although this position does support some teleworking; the selected candidate will need to be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO or Sunnyvale CA or King of Prussia PA, and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

What does this role look like?
As an experienced PCB ECAD Design Checker, you will examine (check) Electronic Computer Aided Design (ECAD) drawings and related documents for clarity, soundness, efficiency, critical interface compatibility, Producibility aspects, dimensional accuracy, geometric tolerancing, and electronic rules compliance.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Examine (check) Electronic Computer Aided Design (ECAD) drawings and related documents for clarity, soundness, efficiency, critical interface compatibility, Producibility aspects, dimensional accuracy, geometric tolerancing, and electronic rules compliance.
• Verify conformity to IPC standards related to printed wiring boards, rigid-flex boards, space design. Designs are developed with Zuken and Xpedition software and controlled on PTC's Product Data Manager. Should have a good working knowledge of engineering release processes.
• Attend checker weekly Question and Answer sessions and interact at staff meetings.
• Participate in regular PCB meetings and provide feedback and findings to PCB team through regular metrics collection/reports and PCB Design Review meetings.
• Look for opportunities to improve and shorten check cycle to improve quality and affordability of product.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• 5+ years professional experience; 3+ years with Masters degree.
• Should have a good working knowledge of engineering release processes.
• Designs are developed with Zuken and Xpedition software and controlled on PTC's Product Data Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with checking drawings against drafting standards; Corporate or Industry.
• Knowledge of IPC Standards IPC-2221/2222 and IPC-6011 or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel).
Desired Skills:
• Experience with checking PCB Fabrication and Assembly Drawings.
• Experience using PCB Design Checking software such as VALOR, CAM350, Viewmate, or equivalent.
• PCB Design experience using Zuken, Xpedition or similar software.
• PCB Library creation and checking experience.
• Experience with MCAD checking for cables or mechanical parts.
• Exposure to Mechanical Computer Automated Design (MCAD) software (CREO, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Exposure to DFx Principles (Design for Affordability, Design for Manufacturability, etc.).
• Programming experience related to scripting, design automation, database analysis.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
