SCCI is seeking a skilled Senior Field Engineer to join our team! In this position, you will support engineering development for a Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Combat Systems contract. This role requires a strong background in developing and reviewing combat system elements of design, acquisition, and installation plans for tactical training equipment. This position is in support of future work expected in 2025. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities: Providing engineering and analytical support for simulator integration efforts designed to improve the level of realism in training events Performing enhancement studies to ensure future training requirements are satisfied Supporting simulation maintenance efforts to include reviewing combat system elements of design acquisitions and installation plans Providing design, development, test & evaluation, and maintenance support of tactical training equipment
Essential Skills and Experience: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance High School diploma Six (6) years of experience in AEGIS Combat System engineering development to include design, development, test and evaluation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training equipment Demonstrated ability to develop and review combat system elements of design, acquisition, and installation plans for tactical training equipment Of the six (6) years, two (2) years Network/System Administration experience in developing and maintaining Local Area Networks (LANs) In Accordance With (IAW) Mandatory Requirements, category must meet DOD 8570 OR successor requirements for Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II
