SCCI is seeking a skilled Senior Exercise Developer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Combat Systems shipboard operations, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Surface Warfare (SUW) scenario scripting, and Combat Information Center (CIC) watch-standing. This position involves developing and programming complex training scenarios for various simulation systems. This position is in support of future work expected in 2025. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities: Supporting development of scenario scripts for simulation and training systems Programming, maintaining, and updating SBT scenarios in support of tactical teams, operator teams, and battle group/force level training Attending scenario development working groups Developing or troubleshooting scenarios using LUA script Developing scenarios that are DIS/HLA compliant in multiple configurations and future systems Supporting lifetime support maintenance that includes threat development and real-world requirement updates, system configuration management, and installation action plans for scenarios per applicable system
Essential Skills and Experience: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance High School diploma Four (4) years Combat Systems shipboard experience including qualification as a CIC watch stander in a Coordinator Watch-station and Combat System Training Team (CSTT) tactical member and experience BMD mission planner or; Six (6) years' experience entering integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) and surface warfare (SUW) scenario scripts in CIAT/NGS/Aegis Simulation Test and Training System (ASTATS) or JSAF and Experience translating BMD mission planner output into CIAT/NGS/ASTATS ballistic missile tracks Experience programming scenarios in MLST3 and WASP Demonstrated knowledge of DIS/HLA protocols
