Job Title: Operator

Overview:

SCCI is seeking a skilled Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Combat Systems shipboard operations, with qualifications as a watch-stander in a supervisor or controller sub-mode. This position is in support of future work expected in 2025. 

This position is located in the following locations: San Diego CA, Norfolk VA, Mayport FL, Great Lakes, Yokosuka Japan, Rota Spain

 

 

Responsibilities: Supporting the execution of the system scenario program  Providing simulator system operator support to control the simulations during training and readiness events  Supporting loading, Verification & Validation (V&V), and operating scenarios  Delivering post-event reports after the completion of lab events  Developing or modifying existing documentation for scenario development, including Simulator Operators Handbook/SOP   



Essential Skills and Experience: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance High School diploma Four (4) years Combat Systems shipboard experience including qualification as a watch stander in a supervisor or controller sub-mode Strong understanding of Combat Systems operations and maintenance Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
