SCCI is seeking a skilled Exercise Developer to join our team! In this position, you will provide exercise development for a shore-based training system on a Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Combat Systems contract. This position may require occasional travel and is in support of future work expected in 2025. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities: Developing and entering scenario scripts in Simulation Test and Training Systems Utilizing and demonstrating knowledge of DIS/ HLA protocols to ensure interoperability and effective simulation Providing support as a CIC watch stander and training supervisor or CSTT tactical member Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive training exercises Conducting reviews and updating training scenarios based on feedback and evolving requirement Maintaining active records and documentation of scenario development and testing activities
Essential Skills and Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Combat Systems shipboard experience including qualification as a CIC watch stander and training supervisor or CSTT tactical member OR Three (3) years of experience entering Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AMD) and Surface Warfare (SUW) scenario scripts in CIAT/NGS/ASTATS or JSAF and demonstrated knowledge of DIS/HLA protocols Strong understanding of Combat Systems operations and scenario development Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills and Experience: Demonstrated expertise in scenario development and scripting Proven ability to operate and maintain complex systems
