Overview

VTG is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to provide business financial management support to our DoD customer in Washington, DC. The Associate Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO) team. This position will mostly be onsite.

What will you do?

Serve as a junior member of a group of analysts. Assist in tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure performing activities are meeting periodic targets. Support the financial execution and formulation of financial plans for assigned programs. Attend program reviews, financial reviews, and applicable meetings where budget/financial support is required. Assist in correlating financial requirements into executable budgets. Draft spreadsheets, reports, and other documents and provide supporting analysis to present financial status of programs.
Do you have what it takes?

Required skills:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; or 1-5 years' experience having demonstrated and specialized knowledge, ideally in Navy/DOD Financial Management processes. Ability to collaborate with team members, multi-task, and adapt to change. Must have active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one. Preferred skills:
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications to analyze data and present status of projects. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel to generate graphs, input formulas, and data entry. VTG's estimated starting pay range is $60,000-$68,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
