Maxar is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a small team in Westminster, CO who, under moderate supervision, will process a high volume of invoices. This fast-paced, detail-oriented position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibiliites:Process incoming invoices for multiple entities ensuring compliance with company purchasing policiesWork closely with the Procurement Team to resolve purchase order discrepanciesEstablish and maintain relationships with vendors and internal StakeholdersGenerate payment cycles, mindful of cash forecasts and coordinate with TreasuryManage a customer support mailbox assisting colleagues and customers with their payment related questionsPerform vendor reconciliations as needed to maintain accurate payable recordsPrepare audit request and other projects to support the accounting teamMinimum Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent residentMinimum of 1 year of related work experienceHS Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience including knowledge of basic accounting/accounts payableDetail oriented with an ability to process transactions with high level of accuracyProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with SAP or similar ERP softwareExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including previous exposure to senior managementSelf-motivated team player with a strong work ethicExemplary customer service skillsAn understanding of international bill processing and paymentKnowledge of sales/use taxOur salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$17.63 - $29.38 hourly.
