Solidus is searching for a Cyber Security Specialist.
How will you make an impact:
Successful individual will join a team that provides several core functions (architecture, operations, and vulnerability management) focused on protecting the organization's information systems and data from cyberthreats. At its core, the team operates a cyber security operations center with incident response, monitoring, design, and defensive-measure application. This team needs a Cyber Security Specialist to support CMMC actions to ensure the organization successfully obtains CMMC Level 2 certification needed for prime contract renewal.
This individual work will support enterprise information services cyber security team working with numerous federated system admin teams performing research to achieve CMMC Level 2 certification.
A day in the life:
• CMMC Scoping and architecture analysis support
• NIST 800-171 Control Implementation Technical Analysis
• Supporting Configuration Management and Asset Inventory Working Groups
• Platform Control Implementation Gap Analysis
What will you bring to the role:
Requirements
• US Citizenship and the ability to acquire/maintain DoD Secret clearance
• 2-3 years minimum experience
• Work onsite 1-2 days a week
Required Experience
• Understanding of NIST 800-171
• Assessment and Authorization
• 2 years IT security experience
• Cyber Experience
• Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within and across teams
Additionally Desired
•Experience with Ubuntu and Mac operating systems
•PKI, Multi-Factor Authentication, and PIV Technologies
•Risk Management Framework ( RMF )
•BigFix IEM
•Configuration Management
