Expected salary range of $51,300 to $57,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing all levels of equipment calibrations and/or testing and analysis using recognized methodologies, industry standards, and technical experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESPerform calibrations of measuring & test equipment and/or tests and analysis of plant components, systems, and parts. (60%)Produce accurate test reports of calibrations and testing and verifies acceptability of results as required in the Exelon PowerLabs Quality Assurance Manual.. (10%)Interact with clients and vendors on technical projects and calibrations. (5%)Process vendor calibrations and conducts vendor source verifications for testing and calibration (10%)Perform corrective / routine maintenance and/or repair of PowerLabs and customer equipment. (5%)Support or perform customer onsite calibrations or testing that may involve regional travel (10%)
JOB SCOPEA Lab Tech II is an intermediate level technician capable of independently performing calibrations of measuring & test equipment and/or conducting testing and analysis of plant components and parts. Technicians in this position have good knowledge of the calibration and testing processes, understand the PowerLabs Corrective Action Process and other quality program processes, participate in customer onsites, demonstrate strong technical skills, teamwork, have good communication skills, and have consistent safety program engagement. revised 3/3/2021
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssociates degree, or 60 credits toward a BS degree in a technical field, or PMEL training (no experience required), or a high school degree plus four years of relevant experienceDemonstrated aptitude in: chemical, electrical, mechanical or metallurgical testing, analysis or calibrations or basic engineering principlesAbility to gain unescorted access to Exelon Nuclear Stations Good oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSNuclear plant experience or Radiation protection experienceMetrology or related education via VoTech, military or associate degree in technical area
