About the role:

As an Assistant Program Manager you will support the Program in managing onsite performance of personnel security professionals responsible for performing program and administrative services in support of processing personnel security actions for Entry-On-Duty (EOD), fitness determinations, suitability, and/or national security eligibility (NSE).

Responsibilities: Part of the onsite personnel team working in conjunction with the Program Manager Communicates directly with the client regarding day-to-day contract operations Manage the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of contractor personnel Monitor contract performance through the daily use of applicable reports, reporting systems, and/or authorized databases to ensure success in meeting frequent changes in operation demands Electronic tracking for tasks and deliverables, as well as daily operational workflow Ensure compliance of processes and task performance Responsible for providing weekly and monthly status reports Communicate as directed with internal and external staff and customers in a professional manner Maintain individual training required to ensure work product is complete and accurate Ensure all performance standards and acceptance criteria for deliverables and outputs are met Holds staff accountable for achieving established timeliness and quality goals Maintain an effective Quality Control Program to ensure services are performed in accordance with work requirements Develop, implement, and improve procedures to identify, correct, and prevent recurrence of defective services Analyze new and complex program-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the program Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures Participates in meetings to discuss or address potential projects and/or assignments affecting a change in current workflow, processes, or requirements and provides recommendations and solutions for improvement of operations Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field Must have at least (3) years specialized experience; or (8) years general experience and (3) years specialized experience *Specialized experience must include at least (1) year program management experience and (2) years of specialized experience administrating functions related to a Personnel Security Program Office. Proficient experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, e., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access. Experience with Insider Threat Programs is advantageous but not required. This position requires a high-risk public trust background investigation.
