DESCRIPTION
The Purchasing Supervisor reports to the Manager of Planning and Warehouse Management. They are responsible for overseeing the Company’s daily, weekly purchasing activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervising the Purchasing staff, including:
o Assisting with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of new staff
o Overseeing daily workflow and staff schedules
o Assisting with performance evaluations
• Managing the procurement of:
o Inventory materials and production supplies
o Outside services for inventory materials and production supplies
o General-use office supplies
o Repair and maintenance of general-use office machines
• Assisting with the procurement of:
o Property, plant and equipment
o Repair and maintenance of property, plant and equipment
o Information technology equipment (computers and peripherals)
• Assisting with maintaining inventory databases/records, including:
o Establishing appropriate purchasing and order policies
o Maintaining optimal on-hand balances
• Ensuring that all procured items meet required quality standards and specifications
• Managing vendor relations including negotiating contracts, prices, terms, etc.
• Performing other duties and tasks as assigned

Pay Rate:
$60,000 to $80,000
