Position Overview:
The Training Coordinator reports to the Training Manager and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of training, as well as proving instruction and training reports as needed.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Coordinate and supervise training under the OPO-Training contract. Provide instruction as required under the bodyguard, protective operations, guard, surveillance detection, and firearms training deliveries. Supervise weapons qualifications and training in specified TO locations. Plan, coordinate, and conduct weapons qualifications and training. Ensure that all equipment, weapons, ammunition, and materials are on-hand for training. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on the curriculum and other requirements contained in the OPO-Trainingcontract. Observe, evaluate, and assist instructors in maintaining standards and improving instruction. Evaluate training for quality control and contract compliance. Develop and submit reports to the DT on the above responsibilities. Deliver instruction as required, with exception to driving and tactical medicine instruction, unless bio approved for those labor categories.
