You will be part of the Digital Innovations Office (DIO) that is focused on one of the top priorities within the organization by introducing, implementing, and sustaining Digital Products for Bombardier customers. You will take ownership and contribute with your tech lead skills and experience to the design and development of new and enhanced features and functions for products within the Digital Ecosystem of Bombardier. You will work in close collaboration with cross functional teams and stakeholders across the organization such as UX Team Lead, Researchers, Designers, Product Owners, Software Developers, Sales, and Customer Support specialists.

In your role, you will: Take technical ownership and develop applications (multi-device) to completion with each sprint, as part of an agile delivery team Lead all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment Propose and develop new features in support of emerging business and project requirements Contribute to regularly adapting our development framework and practices Frequently communicate with members of the digital product team, stakeholders, and managers which may involve presenting to senior leaders Act as a technical expert in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new applications or complex enhancements to existing software Work with the technical staff to understand and develop resolutions of the application problems Conduct code reviews to ensure that new code follows best practices Engage with UX/UI designers and collaborate with back-end developers to create meaningful and reliable APIs Resolve user complaints about the application issues and respond to suggestions for modifications or enhancements Participate in the development and maintenance of the applications' user manuals or other documentation When required, assist in the training of less experienced software development staff.
Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate, You are a full stack developer with five (5) years or more of relevant experience developing web or mobile applications and three (3) years of experience with iOS and Android development You have earned a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent You can oversee external teams/agencies and promote/enforce technical, security and architecture standards You have experience with React / React Native, Redux and JavaScript. You are familiar with Swift, Objective-C, Typescript or Kotlin are a plus You are familiar with software design and architecture You have experience with building iOS and Android apps from both UI/UX and application logic perspectives, leveraging RESTful APIs to integrate with back-end services and/or databases (e.g., document) You have experience with TestFlight for iOS and APK test tools for Android and you are familiar with release processes for App Store and Google Play You have excellent debugging and code optimization skills You have experience in unit/integration testing as part of a CI/CD practice You have experience working alongside and supporting multiple Agile development teams You have demonstrated the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences You have an ability to work with other team members including Product Owner, UI/UX Designers as well as front-end and back-end API teams You have strong oral and written English communications skills, including excellent presentation skills and functional French communication skills You have experience with security compliance and industrial standards You have expertise in developing highly available and scalable web applications Nice to have: You have Ethernet/TCP/IP and telecommunication experience.
