In your role, you will: Be responsible for the coordination of industrialization efforts during the prelaunch process of our futures platforms Ensure the implementation of consistent and standardized industrialization processes through stage gate and maturity reviews Provide strategic guidance for the improvement the financial performance of the company through the implementation of industrialization project, including industry 4.0 initiatives, and the standardization of the best practices across all manufacturing sites Drive project management for defined industrialization improvement projects including development and execution of action plans and tracking of projects and KPIs Ensures engagement of cross-functional teams' participation in the projects (including sites industrialization teams, Engineering & R&D, Operations, Supply chain, operational excellence, IT) Establishing governance to ensure the right people have access to the right, and relevant information in order to make decisions if needed. Communicate project objectives, goals, and progress to program directors, executives, upper management, and stakeholders
Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate, You have strong project manager experience, with proven record on complex project management. (PMP is an asset) You hold a bachelor's or masters' degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, etc). Industrial Engineering Technician with significant experience may be eligible. You hold a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in highly complex assembly manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace You have proven track record in leading major industrialization projects, preferably in aerospace, with high level of cross functional work You have a good knowledge of aerospace structures and associated manufacturing processes. You have a passion about the future of the aerospace industry and a great enthusiasm for the industry 4.0 improvement capability You have a practical knowledge of the aerospace quality standard and their application in the manufacturing processes You have the ability to understand finance and product costing You have a good awareness of the aerostructure supply chain, from raw mat supply to complex assemblies, and have a practical understanding of the key drivers for a make/buy strategy analysis You have the capacity of producing high quality synthetic documents reflecting your strong analytical mind You have skills in customer-oriented approach, you are autonomous and able to respect deadlines You have excellent oral and written communicator skills You have strong interpersonal skills and you are a good team player You have experience in working in an international environment, collaborating with people in remote sites You have skills in English and French, both verbal and written You have knowledge of Office 365 environment including all collaboration tools such as SharePoint & Teams, Proficiency in MS-Excel & PowerPoint is required, MS-Project is an asset Bombardier is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age immigration status, disability or other applicable legally protected Characteristics to apply.
