OVERVIEW:
The General Maintenance associate assists the operations department in a timely, helpful, and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and organized site. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the restrooms, parking lots, and waste area. Assisting supervisors and drivers with off site clean ups when necessary.
Base Compensation for this role is $21.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The general maintenance associate is responsible for keeping the site clean and organized. This includes, but is not limited to:
Maintaining all facility restrooms.
Safely operate a forklift and company vehicle
Pick up drivers if necessary.
Keep break room clean.
Collect water samples after rainy day and deliver samples to San Bernardino collection agency.
Preserve cleanliness and organization in waste area.
Empty trash containers regularly throughout the site
Clean spills at the facility and at customer sites
Maintain, support, and promote a safe work environment while complying with all of SC Fuels' safety rules, policies, and procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct manager
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid California Class C driver's license or be able to obtain a California Class C driver's license prior to beginning employment with SC Fuels
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift
Aptitude to follow oral and written instructions and read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
Positive attitude and critical thinking skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Required to pass SC Fuels' forklift certification course
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
