Who We Are:

The HVAC shop maintains and repair all of the HVAC systems on campus. This department also staffs the night and weekend positions that are responsible for after-hours problems and first-responder responsibilities 24 hrs. per day 365 days per year. By joining our team, you will received an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes)!

Objectives of this Role:

This is a night and weekend shift position.You will be responsible for monitoring building HVAC alarms and assisting with calls from security over the entire campus.First responder responsibilities until the fire department arrives in case of accidents.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

Monitor buildings and labs computerized DDC systems for function and alarms.Receive varied phone call requests for assistance and handle independently as appropriate and within scope of responsibilities, or notify and coordinate appropriate response team.Make small repairs, reset systems or take appropriate action to maintain system operation until proper repair technicians arrive to make repairs.Varied nightly tasks as directed by the department supervisor.

Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalentnShift work required2 years: Minimum general building maintenance knowledgeMust be able to access alarm issues and notify proper personnelA valid/clear driver's license is required
