Job Title: Senior Logistics Specialsit

We are currently seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to support our customer in Port Hueneme, CA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as, posses the follow education and experience:Experience in modeling and computer-based reporting.Investigation and resolution of obsolescence issues.Develop written and oral technical reports.Provide logistics support in the acceptance, integration, and kitting of parts in support of launchers, launcher support equipment, test systems, and AURs.Experience with the current Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for all inventory and material management tracking through primary use of Unique Material Masters numbers (UMN).Experience electronically updating the Ordnance Information System (OIS) (classified and unclassified) to ensure the proper classification reporting including, but not limited to, required material movement, shipboard test due dates, and maintenance due datesExperience performing technical support associated with movement of SAVORS requisitions components for canisters and launcher supporting equipment components in support of maintenance activitiesExperience providing emergent shipment to the various customer sites the Contractor shall prepare packing materials for shipping. The Contractor shall ship in accordance with standard shippingExperience providing logistics service to identify Transportation Protection System (TPS) components need requirements based on present TPS inventory location and new AUR shipping requirements from Government agency and provide NAVSUP guidance for associated shipping requisitions to satisfy need requirementsRequired Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent education/experience combination in an applicable engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, business, or logistics discipline. SUBSTITUTION: two years of experience in the areas specified in weapon system projects including Standard Missile, Surface Launched TOMAHAWK Cruise Missile,ESSM, various Launching Systems, associated equipment, and selected All Up Rounds fired from the supported Launching Systems; OR an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics and four years' experience in logistics or a High School Diploma and eight years' experience in logistics.

Required Experience:

A minimum of eight years experience with weapon system projects including Standard Missile, Surface Launched TOMAHAWK Cruise Missile, ESSM, various Launching Systems, associated equipment, and selected All Up Rounds fired from the supported Launching Systems

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
