We are seeking a highly self-motivated Contracts-Proposal Pricing Specialist to collaborate with the Precise Bid and Proposal Team and support large-scale proposal efforts in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Preferred arrangement is 2 days per week in office (Reston, VA or Lexington Park, MD) with remainder being remote. Other arrangements will also be considered based on employee's home location. For all arrangements, occasional travel to the Precise Systems, Inc. headquarters in Lexington Park, MD will be required

Duties: Review RFPs and participate in business development and proposal activities. Support the development of realistic cost proposal schedules that meet RFP and company requirements and deadlines. Generate detailed pricing using a pricing model, proposal structure, and pricing strategy with MS Excel. Perform RFP and Pricing analysis pre and post award Coordinate subcontractor activities for proposals: Prepare and negotiate Teaming Agreements. Manage subcontractor data calls, responses, and submissions. Perform and document price/cost analysis on subcontractor proposals. Ensure subcontractor compliance with RFP requirements. Prepare cost volume documents: In accordance with RFP requirements, FAR/DFAR requirements and in a timely manner. Work with cross-functional teams for planning, organization, writing, editing, and production of cohesive price/cost volumes with appropriate disclosures, explanatory responses and supporting data to justify adequacy, realism reasonableness, and audit validation. Partner with Proposal team to integrate pricing and program strategy into a winning proposal Assesses and communicates risks and opportunities associated with estimated costs. Assess Request for Proposal (RFP) Cost Volume requirements - translating them into a fully compliant cost proposal Reviews RFPs to determine general and specific cost requirements and ensures proposals comply with all requirements Participates in pricing and cost proposal development and provides pricing support for all phases of the proposal process Capture lessons learned and implement improvements to the proposal contracts/pricing process and content Required Experience: Experience with proposal, acquisition, procurement, finance, or contracts in a government support role (preferably Navy/Military) Team player with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Extremely detail oriented with highly effective organizational skills Ability to handle unscheduled extended work hours and non-standard workweeks. Demonstrated initiative/self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention-to-detail. Understanding and experience with diverse contract types, including IDIQ, Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and Time & Materials contracts. Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Agency Regulations, etc. Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite of products and other applicable systems. Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines. Familiarity with CPSR requirements is a plus Positive, customer-service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend issues/needs, inspire teamwork, and recommend solutions. Track record of building effective working relationships and communicating successfully with senior level internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow-through on projects from conception to completion, and complete work accurately and timely with minimal supervision. Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs and priorities of a growing business Desired Education: BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education requirements. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
