Position Summary
Federal Data Systems is looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to support a national customer. Individual will Assimilate, evaluate, and interpret all-source information concerning Counterintelligence, counter terrorism, counter espionage, and other threats to and against government personnel, programs, information systems, facilities/sites, and/or Offensive and Defense missions .
Essential Job Functions Analyses and distribution of all-source information as required; Conduct internal and external liaison in consultation with the COR. Perform threat analyses, threat forecasts and threat alerts, and recommend timely and effective technical countermeasures. Prepare and conduct tailored briefings and debriefings; Conduct CI damage assessments. Analysts anticipate and address strategic concerns and identify opportunities as well as vulnerabilities for Agency decision makers. Conduct studies of offensive, defensive, cyber, and technical programs to evaluate effectiveness, vulnerabilities, and threats to current programs, feasibility of future programs and development of planning efforts. Applies extensive Intelligence experience, judgment and ingenuity in interpreting information and provide recommendations or decision making to impact Intelligence programs. Interpret and analyze complex foreign legislative, regulatory and new policy guidance to develop and prepare recommendations to management in support of operational activities. Minimum Required Qualifications Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required. Years of Experience: Prefer minimum of twelve (12) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required. Experience should include twelve (12) years of demonstrated experience and analytic skills. Two (2) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Master's degree and four (4) years for a Phd. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI FS Poly Analysts must possess experience in a wide variety of IC and CI resources, information and intelligence repositories and databases, systems, and tools, as well as, advanced Internet research skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Candidates' IC experience may be a combination of Government and contractor assignments. A self-starter with self-directing abilities is a mandatory requirement. Excellent organizational and time/task management skills are required. Desired Skills: Broad familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) analysis missions and standards, resources, and collection methods. Experience developing comprehensive intelligence assessments and operational plans, threat identification and profiles of offensive and defensive techniques. Familiarity with navigating IC resources, portals, informational and finished intelligence repositories and databases. Superior Internet research and source evaluation skills. Excellent reporting, writing, and briefing skills; understanding of ODNI analytic standards. Demonstrated success working with integrated and distributed teams. Naturally inquisitive and love of research problems. Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
