Position Summary

Federal Data Systems is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Recruiting Team. The Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening and providing qualified candidates for various technical roles working in the government space. The Technical Recruiter will network with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, and ensure we attract the best professionals. Build strong talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions which require security clearances. Will partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and priorities in order to help grow the company. Work to identify and engage passive candidates and manage the full life cycle recruiting process for technical hires. Candidates must be local to the Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD/Northern, VA area.

Essential Job Functions Creatively source candidates through various channels (e.g., social networking, internet posting and mining, traditional networking, referrals, etc.). Perform pre-screening calls to analyze candidate's abilities and skills-sets. Pre-screen and qualify candidates for hire; market company and benefits; ensure proper compliance with all applicable state and federal statutes. Schedule and attend virtual and off-site job/career fairs with appropriate staff. Determine applicant qualifications, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements. Meet with department managers to discuss recruitment needs and develop strategies and goals to fill hard-to-fill positions. Fully utilizes the applicant tracking system ensuring that information is updated timely, accurately and completely. Develop a pipeline that is managed in real time to categorize and direct candidates to viable roles. Develop and plan standard and creative recruiting initiatives to ensure that vacancies are filled timely and with quality candidates. Owns and executes the entire talent process including offer letters, new hire, security requirements, job descriptions, interview questions, etc. Submit resumes to hiring managers on several proposals within DoD/Intel Community. Minimum Required Qualifications Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must have at least 3 years of technical recruiting experience. High School diploma is required. Must have experience recruiting for proposals in a DoD environment. Must be able to attend meetings in the Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD/Northern, VA area on a monthly basis. Experience recruiting for cleared Cyber Security Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists and other related IT positions with TS/SCI CI and FS Polys. Working knowledge with applicant tracking systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient computer skills for accuracy in reporting and recording information into various systems; Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel for reporting purposes. Ability to work well with all levels of management and teammates. Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, hiring managers and senior level management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple priorities. Strong working knowledge of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, OFCCP, etc.) Desired/Preferred Skills: Experience with iCIMS applicant tracking systems is a plus. Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business workhours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
