Responsibilities

GovCIO is looking for Senior Analyst to join our team. The role is to help support Information Technology Operations and Services (ITOPS) with the Department of Veteran Affairs Senior Executives. The applicant will perform his/her duties within an Information Technology organization for the senior executive leadership within the Office of the CIO of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Directly support the Office of the CIO and senior leadership with the core team. Provide high-level support requiring broad and comprehensive experience interacting with senior leadership, including skill and knowledge of corporate and federal communications, and VA organization policies. Applicant shall: Provide senior executive support ranging from scheduling, coordination, logistics, analysis and reporting. Provide travel scheduling, preparation, and coordination support to the Office of the CIO and its senior members, including scheduling/deconflicting all travel required by the executive staff through coordination with the hosting organization. Generate, staff, control, distribute, and maintain various documents, data, processes and artifacts in accordance with VA directives. Track all information reported to internal and external organizations. Provide data and records management support for all executive reports and responses. Complete forms and registrations as directed by the office senior executives. Work team to draft executive summaries of documents as directed by the office senior executives Support special assignments as assigned. Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Applicant should have at least 5 years of experience in communications, planning and leadership support, preferably within the Federal workspace. Experience in a Fortune 10 company preferred. The candidate must possess strong communication (oral/written) skills, and strong organization skills. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and One Note, Acrobat Professional, MS SharePoint and Visio. Ability to write clear and concise correspondence. Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret complex information, communications and data. Ability to think out of the box while communicating or dealing with a variety of situations. A clear understanding of the activities, roles, and responsibilities involved in Federal consulting engagements. Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience VA Experience Knowledge of VA Travel and CONCUR process Experience supporting senior leadership of a large IT organization/Fortune 10 companies Proactive Detail-oriented Ability to track efforts to completion Coachable Organized Team player Confident Ability to handle a high paced environment COVID Policy: New employees will be required to adhere to the Company's and its clients' COVID-19 safety procedures.
