Responsibilities

Designs and implements information assurance and security engineering systems with requirements of business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management). Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. Validates system security requirements definition and analysis. Establishes system security designs. Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures. Verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities. Supports secure systems operations and maintenance.

1.Participates with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
2.Configures and validates secure systems and tests security products and systems to detect security weakness; performs network scanning and vulnerability analysis.
3.Ensures that the appropriate security features and safeguards have been implemented on all information systems as required by DoD/IC policy and directives, and industry best practices.
4.Performs defense device system installation, configuration maintenance, account maintenance, signature maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of all implemented, maintained, and deployed systems.
5.Provides security certification test and evaluation of assets, vulnerability management and response, security assessments, customer support and provides guidance on security issues.

Qualifications


Required Skills and Experience BA/BS of Science in CS, IS, Engineering or other related technical discipline with 12+ years (or commensurate experience) Experienced business systems analyst with over 10+ years of experience. Experienced in interfacing and communicating with various Cross-Functional Teams through analysis, design, development and testing phases of the project. Proficient in conducting GAP analysis using AS-IS and TO-BE study, Impact analysis and Risk analysis. Experience in business Process Flow, Process Modeling and Reporting. Involved in all phases of development from requirements gathering, business case development, maintenance, developing Requirements Traceability Matrix and defining strategic solutions for business needs. Proficient with Azure DevSecOps Tools and Processes. Hands-on experience with SDLC and Agile processes. Proficient in artifacts, Sprint planning, and review. Proficient in facilitating meetings with stakeholders, to elicit and extract relevant information about policies or processes and then capturing that information into publishable policy or process documentation. Possess excellent, written and executive level presentation skills. Proficient in collecting and analyzing process and procedural metrics and generating data analytics reports. Preferred Skills and Experience Business analysis support for ICAM Projects and related technologies Active Security Clearance Experience in performing Business Architecture support for a large government system and provide in-depth synopsis during initial interviews with current supporting staff. Understanding on how to communicate between the Business Owners and the Technical Teams to create roadmaps, determine improvement opportunities and implement data access/protection strategies across the enterprise systems.
