Job Description or Summary:
KeyLogic is seeking Platform Services Support Specialist with strong systems, software, and Agile experience to support our program at the USPTO. This is a long-term position.
Job Duties:
As a Platform Services Support Specialist, you will be working closely with Software Development and Operations teams to support USPTO's Platform Services environment. This is a Full-Time position and work location will be remote.
Job Requirements or Skills Required:
5+ years on hands-on experience in managing mid to large scale platform services architectures based on Middleware products such as Apache Http Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM MQ/MB, JBoss EAP, Apache Tomcat, Apache SOLR, Alfresco, Documentum, etc.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix and Windows server administration
2+ years of hands-on experience defining, configuring, and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub actions and other automation techniques.
Experience with automation/orchestration platforms and tools such as Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat CloudForms, Puppet, Chef and Ansible
Support for administration, troubleshooting, configuration, installation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades and day-to-day operational support on On-premises and Cloud applications hosted on Middleware infrastructure.
Support deployments, rollbacks, application verification, Smoke Tests, and other production tasks
Demonstrated understanding of Web/Middleware security practices and tools.
Experience with source code repositories such as Git and SVN
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and OpenNMS
Knowledge of emerging trends in the Middleware space.
Experience working within an Agile Environment and working with Agile tools such as JIRA and Rally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Provide 24x7x365 support for all Middleware components and supported applications
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s in computer science or related field
Security Clearance Information: You do not need a current/active clearance to apply but must be able to pass and hold a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation. You must be a US Citizens or Green Card Holder to be eligible for the clearance.
