The Assistant Corporate Controller serves as a leader on the corporate accounting team, supporting the Corporate Controller and providing direction and oversight to other corporate team members. Responsibilities include acting as an accounting resource to our global controllers, leading technical financial reviews, providing integration assistance to newly acquired entities, interfacing with other corporate functions including Treasury, Tax and IT and assisting the Corporate Controller with strategic initiatives. The position is a key role targeted for future advancement within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare annual subsidiary review plan by identifying in-scope subsidiaries and organizing areas of focus for each review Perform technical reviews alongside Corporate Controller Lead research and communicate resolution for any issues identified Provide read out to CFO and VP Finance Assist Corporate Controller in reviewing monthly subsidiary results and variance analysis Lead monthly review calls with larger subsidiaries and prepare executive summary write-up Build relationships with our subsidiary controllers providing a bridge between our corporate team and our businesses Address subsidiary accounting questions, communicate corporate developments and stay abreast of new subsidiary developments Review subsidiary statutory reporting and understand statutory-to-GAAP differences Develop our Global Learning Program, presented to the global accounting and finance department. Lead quarterly accounting and controls training program designed to keep our global controllers informed of new accounting guidance and updated policies and procedures Assist Corporate Controller with development of plan to roll-out Concur travel expense reporting tool to certain subsidiaries; prepare business case for approval and act as corporate sponsor during roll-out Assist with strategic roadmap and implementation of our new Consolidation Software, OneStream. Provide assistance with new acquisitions including performing opening balance sheet technical assessment, assisting with implementation of our internal control framework, performing working capital adjustment calculation as necessary, and participating in various other integration activities Design and direct the daily work of the team. Select, coach, and develop staff. Set clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manage performance - recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and facilitating improvement plans when necessary. Provide leadership and dotted line oversight to entire corporate team Assist Corporate Controller in strategic planning for long-term team needs Provide support and research for new projects and investments as needed, such as functional currency determination, cost and equity method investment accounting, accounting for acquisition reorganizations, etc. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance 7 years of related experience 3 years of progressive leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: Public Accounting experience and/or mix of global manufacturing experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Experience with OneStream or equivalent consolidation and reporting software Previous experience with SAP or equivalent ERP Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High degree of technical accounting acumen Technical accounting acumen Superior written and verbal communication skills Leadership and strategic aptitude Detail oriented; strong organizational skills Use of OneStream consolidation software and Concur expense reporting Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
