Job Title: Data Analyst

The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements and performing technical analysis of various data points from a variety of different systems. Additionally, this role will provide insights into the data being ingested, build models for business and IT analysis, and visually structure data in a variety of forms conducive to answering business questions in Freedom's standard BI / Reporting tools.
Position Requirements:
Become an expert on the core decisioning that drives Freedom's business Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications Create and publish data mapping documents Develop and maintain data catalogues and data lineage documentation Partner with architects and development teams to procure the necessary data and transfer it into a format more appropriate for analysis Interact with business users to identify dashboard projects, report layouts, and analysis presentations Periodically collect additional data through means such as analyzing business results Search through large data sets for usable information using various tools and languages such as Python and SQL Develop insights from models and create data connections for business decisions Create reports and presentations to showcase insights Analyzes, detects, identifies, and coordinates remediation of data issues Communicate complex data/ideas in a simple, actionable way Required Technical Skills:
Hands on around Python, Pandas and DataFrame JSON, SQL, and PL/SQL Snowflake, Oracle, and MS SQL Server Data modeling and star schema design Amazon S3, JIRA, and REST API Tableau and Power BI Supervisory Responsibilities:
