Job Description:

ARServices is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, and experienced Technical Writer/Proposal Coordinator to join our team. This important position will have a significant impact on the continued growth of ARServices.

The Technical Writer/Proposal Coordinator will support the development of "all" aspects of corporate communications as well as proposals and other marketing documentation (such as RFIs, SSNs, internal and external marketing materials, etc.), working closely with management and functional experts. Specifically, the person will focus on:

(1) conceiving, drafting, and editing internal communications

(2) developing and maintaining a vigorous and engaging social media presence

(3) supporting proposal development and marketing efforts

(4) assisting in conducting market research and competitive intelligence

5) Maintaining the corporate customer relationship management (CRM) and other repositories such as the Business Development and Proposal files

The Technical Writer/Proposal Coordinator must understand the proposal development processes (Shipley method), proposal management functions, project management approaches and techniques and will be responsible for coordinating the development of all proposal products. The Technical Writer/Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all phases of the company's proposal process in response to U.S. government and commercial requests for proposals (RFPs) and other sales and marketing documentation. The Technical Writer/Proposal Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate proposal and marketing records and repositories using SharePoint, including archiving proposals, reusable content, and graphics. The ability to meet deadlines, support multiple proposal efforts simultaneously, a commitment to teamwork, and detailed follow-through will be the key to success in this role.

In coordination with the leadership team, the Technical Writer/Proposal Coordinator will also draft, edit, and post/produce internal communications such as content for the employee portal, speeches of the CEO and senior subject manager experts, marketing materials, website content, and social media postings.

Duties
Coordinate complex Government proposals and bid preparations Coordinate proposal efforts with the technical division, contracts department, subcontractors, finance department, and human resources Develop proposal schedule, outline, and compliance matrices Facilitate interactions between key personnel and business functions in the proposal development effort Support all aspects of proposal preparation, submission, revisions, and final submission Develop and complete corporate data calls and requests Create, update, and maintain proposal content files Conduct and support market research efforts including gathering competitive intelligence, spending patterns, industry days, and RFIs/SSNs Attending industry days and other events on behalf of the company and providing notes to the larger group Maintain the corporate CRM tool to ensure all information is accurate, up-to-date, and complete Provide ARServices' inputs to customer CRM tools such as government small business office repositories, etc. Create and maintain proposal tools and templates Maintain the corporate Business Development SharePoint Site Draft and edit internal communications Manage ARServices' social media presence Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years' experience supporting various levels of government proposals and technical writing A working knowledge of Government and military contracts, GSA, FAR, DFARs, and SBA regulations Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage multiple proposals simultaneously The ability to understand and analyze the details of an RFP Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS SharePoint Strong communication and organization skills Understanding of Shipley business development and proposal processes Excellent time management, written/technical writing, verbal, and presentation skills required

Desired Qualifications
APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification Proficiency in Deltek GovWin, FPDS, beta.sam.gov, SharePoint, and other information tools Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
