Job Description:

ASRC Federal NetCentric is seeking a User Interface / Web Developer for our team located in Abingdon, MD and Wall, NJ to support our US Army Customer. This full-time position affords successful candidates with the opportunity to work in an engaging, high-tech development environment, utilizing the latest techniques in model-based design and agile development. Successful candidates will:

BS and 2 -- 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 0 -- 6 years of prior relevant experience
Understanding of the fundamentals of JavaScript
Unit Testing and experience working with unit test mocking frameworks
Real-world experience with Frameworks and Run-time experience environments (AngularJS, Vue, REACT, NodeJS)
Excellent understanding of basic UI/UX principles (ex: usability, proximity, Hick's Law)
Understanding of browsers, browser rendering, and browser development tools
Expert in CSS core concepts such as floats, flex-box, grid, specificity, patterns, and anti-patterns
Experience with AG Grid and Material design
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
Able to multi-task, self-assign work, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile environment
Excellent verbal and written skills
Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)

Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance and US Citizenship is required

Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Design and build efficient, well tested, and reusable User Interface custom components using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, NodeJS, Bootstrap, Foundation, JQuery and other JS driven web frameworks
Analyze and interpret requirements from Architecture and the User-centered Design Team
Ensure consistency with an established software development architecture
Introduce new technologies and best practices as needed to solve business problems
Be a part of development team to create practical solutions in Agile/DevOps environment

Experience and knowledge in the following areas optional, but useful:

Experience analyzing software architectures using CMU SEI approaches
Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) and specifically, OSGi
Experience with AFATDS, Army Common Operating Environment (COE) or other PM MC systems
Experience with Python

Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance and US Citizenship is required
