Responsibilities
Provide ongoing network support, address availability issues, overcome performance problems and provide overall level 2 support. Design, install, maintain and coordinate the use of network systems. Evaluate hardware and software and peripheral equipment for large, complex networks. Manage network performance, diagnose performance problems and undertake tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLR requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network. Report on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues and plan to improve network availability, performance and problem resolution. Train users, maintain, create and delete user accounts. Maintain and update system security plans on all platforms. Implement and coordinate network policies, procedures and standards. Enforce network security procedures.
Qualifications
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD. Must have a SECRET Security clearance (or higher), with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI once aboard; US Citizenship Required.
