Air Terminal Services Supervisor (Cargo)

Supports the DJBOSS Passenger Terminal, Cargo Handling & ATOC Contract
Determines, equipment, and personnel required to accomplish air transportation functionsSupervise day to day activities of the Cargo Services departmentEnforces policies, directs personnel, and establishes procedures to process, load, document, and report passengers and cargo transported by air.Inspects, completes, and maintains air movement's records, documents, and Shipper's Declaration of Dangerous Goods (SDDG)Verifies eligibility of cargo offered for airlift. Ensures all cargo documentation, packaging, labeling and marking requirements, and border clearance requirements have been met.Determines and implements necessary safety and security precautions for handling and storing dangerous materials, special cargo, mail, and baggage.Uses computer systems to provide in-transit visibility over cargo movement operations (GATES, GDSSII, SMS, IGC)Provides Mobility Force Inspector Joint Inspections IAW appropriate Department of Defense DTR, AFI, AFMAN or AMCI referencesProvide support to other departments within Air Operations as mission dictatesIndividual will be in constant direct contact with military personnel on a daily basis and must understand DoD movement's terminology.

Certification/Education Requirements:
Preferred prior 2T2 (AFSC: 2T251 min.) minimum 6 years' experience in AFSCExperience in functions such as loading and unloading aircraft; operating automated or manual materials handling equipment such as 10K forklifts, 25k-Loader, Halvorsen Loader, lower lobe aircraft loader or other loadingMinimum 2 years' experience Joint Inspector certifiedMinimum of 1-year HAZMAT certified experience IAW AFMAN 24-204 (AFMAN 24-604) (certification does not need to be current)Must possess a Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain a clearance through the OPM adjudication process

Must be fluent in EnglishMust possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remainingMust possess driver's license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
