Title:
Specialist - Logistics Administration

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist I in our Warner Robins, GA location, to provide logistics support for engineering and maintenance activities. The primary role will be to analyze basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Additional duties may include overseeing small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager, but must be able to work independently, with minimal guidance and able to solve complex logistical problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Skills/requirements include:

Four to seven years of logistics/supply chain experience required; Associates or Bachelor's in logistics/supply chain management may be substituted.
Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures.Assists in conducting distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Has in-depth knowledge of DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and engineering requirements.Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad Program/ Department/Section guidelines and policies. An active Secret clearance is preferred.
