UABOS: Turkey-Housing Manager
Overall department responsibility for Unaccompanied Housing (UH), and Furnishings Management to permanent party personnel. Brief personnel on housing policies and procedures. Provided relocation assistance to permanent change of station (PCS) personnel. Monitors activities to ensure proper maintenance, safety and cleanliness standards are adhered. Reviews vacancy/occupancy rates with client and management on a regular basis. Prepare entitlements documentation such as Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA), Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA), Move-in Housing Allowance (MHA) and Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) for civilians as required. Develop and manage the housing budget to include furnishings support. Maintain the Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) software database (or future database if applicable) and shall provide housing technical data and reports required by the Government. Ensure sufficient customer service support is provided during duty hours. Knowledge of and ability to train employees on all relevant safety standards related to area required. Conducts daily safety briefings as well as regular department meetings. As needed, perform all required support functions for UH such as housing inspections, control, coordinating required change of occupancy work and cleaning/maintenance as required. Assist with the preparation and processing of housing applications. Manage the housing inspection program and ensure the occupants perform homeowner maintenance. Collect rental charges from non-military housing occupants when required. Budget for FMS requirements. Request, procure, receive, issue, store, deliver and pick up furnishings and appliances authorized for use in Government owned facilities. Maintain accountability for furnishings and appliances, perform in house repair as needed, and initiate disposition actions when required. Conduct annual inventory and assessment of 100 percent of furnishings issued to supported agencies and in warehouse, and prepare plan for acquisition, repair or disposal of items based on the assessment. Develop O&M 5-year long range furnishings plans for Commander approval.
Incumbent shall have five years experience in managing housing functions and customer service. Three of the five years shall include supervision.Knowledge of USAF housing instructions and policies.Must possess an Associates degree in Business Administration or Management or related field IAW UABOS Statement of Work.
