Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to all aspects of the software life cycle including but not limited to reviewing project requirements, design technical solutions, scoping, planning, implementation, documentation, testing, delivery, and maintenance. Participate in and be a contributing member of daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives. Write, review and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications and training materials. Utilize Git version control Identify and resolve software issues through debugging, research and investigation. Provide remote and onsite support of software problems. The team uses several different technologies in our development stack across multiple clients and projects. These include: Frontend - Angular Backend - C#, Java, Spring Boot Database -SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis Build: Jenkins Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Candidates for this position must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years' experience in software development OR 5 years' experience in software development In depth knowledge of C# .NET and/or Java. Experience working with relational databases Experience with REST API design and implementation Experience developing frontend in Angular is a plus Experience with Spring Boot is a plus Experience with setting up or leveraging DevOps pipelines is a plus Knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform is a plus Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Good written and verbal communication skills.
Physical / Mental Requirements :
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Basic computational skills
