Shift: 8:15am-5pm, Hours will vary with 24/7 operation. Available after hours for support as needed.

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

As the VP, Engineering & Equipment, you serve as a senior member of the Production & Logistics leadership team. This role plans and executes divisional strategies related to the processing engineering and equipment management across all P&L locations. Effectively leads from the front and ensures all areas are staffed appropriately. Develops leaders for bandwidth throughout the areas and shifts and works with other P&L leaders to ensure engagement of the teams. This leader champions all sustaining engineering, tech transfer and equipment processing activities related to safety, quality, cost, and continuous improvement utilizing LEAN. Ensures effective and seamless transfer of new products and technologies into global operations. Collaborates with other leadership in operational growth and expansion strategies and activities.

What you'll do:
Engineering & Equipment Management: Ensures the process engineering function effectively executes all sustaining engineering activities and partners with product development to seamlessly transfer new products and technologies into operations. Collaborates with other LNH leaders to identify, initiate, and manage projects to improve the processes and products. Supports of LNH leaders to align integration plans, staffing, structure, processes, and procedures to efficiently deliver those products. Ensures that all equipment cleaning, maintenance, and sterilization plans are executed in support of all operations to meet the goals of the division. Highest focus on safety and quality in all operations. Identifies issues and challenges quickly and develops plans to address in partnership with other leaders. Ensures all equipment processes are operating efficiently and effectively to optimize the use of all resources. Manages all equipment inspections, inventory levels delivery to production. Ensure all sterilizers and washers are operational to support the mission. Ensures alignment of integration plans, staffing, structure, processes, and procedures to efficiently deliver those products.People Leadership: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective regarding day-to-day execution of production operations (multi-site 24/7 environment), support operations, and production enhancement and improvement initiatives. Ensures individuals are equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Uses the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure their team's level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Ensures effective training of technical staff and adequate staffing levels in all departments.Strategic & Financial Planning: Collaborates in the development and implementation of the company's long-range strategic operational plans ensuring it is consistent with the overall master plan. Develops, plans, and participates in the implementation of divisional goals by actively participating in strategic planning and goals setting activities. Initiates and recommends actions to accomplish these objectives. Evaluates and makes recommendations towards enhancing or improving the divisional strategic plan, performance measures, and initiatives to improve effectiveness. Monitors financial performance indicators on an ongoing basis, investigates budget variances, and adjusts operations or recommends adjustments, as necessary. Develops divisional annual budgets (operational and capital) on a timely basis. Establishes financial reporting systems and controls to ensure compliance with company expenditure requirements while meeting operational demands. Designs and executes programs for the provision of capital required by the division. Coordinates the long-range plans of the division, assesses the financial requirements implicit in these plans, and develops alternative ways in which financial requirements can be satisfied. Continuous Improvement Management: Effectively drives continuous improvement with the production areas, utilizing LEAN and other methods while collaborating with leadership to prioritize and execute the most critical projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify, define, and execute significant process improvement projects while providing senior leadership support to strategic planning efforts. Develops business improvement planning processes that align and prioritize improvement projects linked to business strategy and business planning at corporate and operational levels.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering,; Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred Fifteen (15) years Engineering or Operations in regulated industry such as medical device, pharma, LifeScience, etc. Ten (10) years progressively responsible leadership and management experience with demonstrated success in a highly complex organization Five (5) years' experience supporting and managing mutli-site operations across the US Five (5) years Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experience preferred
