Overview
Responsible for producing quality accessions into the Army National Guard. Please note this position is for a Future Vacancy.

Responsibilities
Canvas, establish and maintaining contacts in a designated recruiting area in order to generate interest, leads, and enlistments into the Army National Guard. Conducts telephone prospecting, area canvassing and other lead generation activities. Develops, implements, and maintains effective recruiting programs that targets recent high school graduates, college students, college graduates or prior service individuals. Prepare and conduct presentations about the ARNG on such topics as the role of the ARNG, state/federal missions, features and benefits, employment opportunities, and ARNG history. Pre-qualifies prospects to ensure current, basic enlistment eligibility criteria are met. This includes enlistment options, programs, obligations, IET requirements, selective reserve incentive program (SRIP) and the Montgomery GI bill. Schedule appointments and conduct sales interviews to obtain enlistments and conduct follow-up interviews to gain enlistments. Collect, maintain data for analytical use by the government to include MEPS success and fail rates, reasons for failure to access, shipper data, waiver processing rates, and accession success rates. Utilize the Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS)/Army Infrastructure Enterprise (AIE) for all recruiting, prospecting, and processing activities to include lead refinement, telephone/sales prospecting, test/physical project, and Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) processing. Complete necessary Live Scan Authorizations and update records in ARISS/AIE. Prepare prior service and non-prior service enlistment packets in ARISS/AIE and conduct a MEPS pre-enlistment screening briefing as required. Counsel applicants on test results (medical and physical), enlistment contracts, service obligations, incentives and benefits, Initial Entry Training (IET) requirements and disqualifications. Obtain, safeguard, scan and return all required hard copy documents for accessions and forward to RTC and the local NCOIC for QC process. Complete the waiver information screen in ARISS/AIE for applicants requiring a waiver and choosing the state level approving authority for all waivers. Use ARISS/AIE to complete and send all enlistment packets to MEPS, download leads, update leads as they progress, and make appointments. CRs shall use ARISS/AIE to demonstrate work activity to allow higher echelons to validate work effort. CRs shall use the system provided to maintain prospect information, Centers of Influent (COI) and Very Important Persons (VIP) information as required. Perform administrative or logistical tasks necessary to prepare the soldier for entrance into and success while part of the Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) and IET. Distribute and display government-provided promotional items in the community to create brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a MOS-qualified 79T. Must be a graduate of both the Army Recruiter and ARNG Recruiting and Retention NCO course. Candidates that have earned the Senior or Master Recruiting badge are preferred. Travel % and/or Unique Job Requirements: 75-100%
