Job Description:

CoSolutions, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator to support Navy ONE-NET operations in Yokosuka, Japan.
Coordinate the operational support and implementation activities for Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) service offerings encompassing heterogeneous platforms. Assist Government in determining tactical and strategic direction of the organization as it relates to emerging operational support technologies. Research, analyze, and recommend new operational support technologies, tools, and techniques. Coach others on the application of new operational support technologies. Review distributed computing and network designs to select appropriate operational support strategies and ensure efficient use of resources. Conduct system support design and performance evaluation reviews. Identify, develop, and update operational support standards and procedures. Participate with corporate strategic planning teams. Keep abreast of emerging operational support technologies and industry trends. Recommend price/performance improvement opportunities. Must possess an Operating System (OS)/Application Certification.
Responsibilities:
Network and Systems Operations (NASO) is the central point for managing the ONE-Net production infrastructure (servers, network devices, fault management, configuration/asset management, security management, network defense, common application support, transport services). NASO is responsible for the performance of system administration tasks to ensure optimal performance, maintain the security posture of the network, and minimize customer service interruptions.
The candidates will:
Remotely manage distributed servers within each local site by a central location where possible. Coordinate all maintenance and restoration activities of remote servers with the TNOSC and LNSC leadership. Coordinate across all regions (TNOSC) on operational initiatives that require cross-regional tasking. Respond to all escalated service requests and trouble tickets delivered through the ESD. Support REL A suite for the Far East regions. REL A is an enclave on SIPRNet in all regions that supports access for Foreign Exchange Officers (FEOs) to support multi-national operations with U.S. Coalition Partners. Administer, maintain, and operate ONE-Net SharePoint, Virtual Machine environment servers, Mobile Device Management Server, and Citrix servers and applications. Coordinate routine audits of the physical media library and ensure consistency of logical and physical media library. Ensure adequate resources, procedures, and reporting for backup, restore, and data recovery strategies, and that they are consistent with SPAWAR/NAVIFOR/NAVNETWARCOM/NCTAMS/NCTS policies, and customer requirements. Ensure media (including disk, storage, backup, and restore) associated with new production releases are available, and that procedures are in place prior to service activation. Ensure the escalation of incidents and problems are assigned to the appropriate Tier. Manage the access to all systems, services, and data to ensure compliance with SPAWAR/NAVIFOR/NAVNETWARCOM/NCTAMS/NCTS Enterprise Delegation of Authority (DoA) guidelines. Manage limited-use media. Monitor compliance with ONE-Net Enterprise standards for Content Management by Commands using SharePoint services. Monitor and control service levels of servers as well as underlying services and storage capacities. Monitor system resource use, analyze usage patterns and volumes, monitor the availability to support the current operational processes, and as needed, prepare impact reports for TNOSC management based on analysis. Participate in scheduled ECP exercises and provide IT Service Continuity as it relates to Systems and Server infrastructure. Participate in work group meetings with the Enterprise Management Team, working groups, TNOSC management, and SPAWAR/NAVIFOR/NAVNETWARCOM/NCTAMS/NCTS to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of monitored systems, services, and storage related activities. Perform operational security functions and provide accurate reports of related activities. Provide training and guidance to Content Managers of the Commands utilizing ONE-Net Enterprise SharePoint. Provide technical and operational input to Regional Change Review activities. Review existing documentation for the server, services, data storage operations, and maintenance processes and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvements/changes to the TNOSC management for approval and implementation. Assist network and systems security personnel in IA incident response, including close coordination with the Theater IAM for all IA related tasks. Maintain all servers, switches, and routers within the configuration baselines and all STIGs, and accurately configure and apply patches to all systems. Review the ONE-Net Configuration Management Database (CMDB) information for accuracy and recommend necessary corrections. Supervise the temporary installations of required network devices for exercises. Transport media to offsite storage location in accordance with SPAWAR/NAVIFOR/NAVNETWARCOM/NCTAMS/NCTS designated media retention and rotation guidelines.

Requirements
Clearance: Active DoD Secret
Education: B.S. (in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related technology field preferred).
Certifications: DODD-8570 IA Technical Level 2 (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, Security+/CE, or SSCP) and an applicable Operating System competency certification.
Experience: 10+ yrs experience
