Job Title: Technical Writer/Editor - Senior - (513)

CoSolutions, Inc. is looking to hire aTechnical Writer/Editor - Seniorin Charleston, SC

Responsibilities:
-Provide support by assisting with the development, maintenance, and updating of technical and project management documentation.
-Produce clear and concise project documentation tailored to the intended audience.
-Translate conceptual ideas into graphical presentations.
-Gather information and seek guidance from management and technical SMEs in order to develop documentation.
-Follow established documentation standards and template guidelines.
-Proofread and make edit recommendations for project management and technical documents to include data markings in compliance with Government standards and archive approved documentation.
-Create and manage document templates and style guides.
-Record changes in hardcopy and/or softcopy and communicate changes.
-Coordinate preliminary and final review sessions with SMEs, reviewers, and approvers to validate document content.
-Coordinate documentation prioritization needs to meet expected deliverable dates.
-Manage source files and maintain document configuration to ensure version control.
-Provide process improvement recommendations.

Requirements
Clearance: Active DoD Secret
Education: BA degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
Experience:
Fifteen (15) years of experience in the software, engineering, information technology, or manufacturing fields, to include: process and procedure documentation for information technology and/or software engineering projects, writing/editing technical documentation, procedures, guidelines, and user guides in an operational environment. Experience supporting large scale, dispersed, and interdisciplinary technical teams while simultaneously providing expertise using enterprise content and version control systems such as CMPRO, JIRA, and/or SharePoint. Experience capturing and documenting technical requirements from varying programmatic and technical disciplines while simultaneously correlating and with relevant policy, guidance, industry standards, and best practices. Position contingent upon contract award and funding. Est. start is June 2021.
