Job Title: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Medicine, Hospitalist

The Department of Medicine's Division of General Geriatric, Palliative and Hospital Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks multiple Hospitalist to join a growing practice of more than 20 physicians with expanding roles in the UVa Health System. Teaching opportunities in our residency program and medical school are abundant. Rank and compensation are contingent upon qualifications and experience.
Our practice is leading an initiative on geographic team based hospital care designed to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance patient and caregiver satisfaction. We also have growing surgical co-management service including a preoperative clinic and we staff a 40 bed LTACH. We have exceptional support from health system leadership and a team that is energetic and poised to lead UVa in its quest to become the safest health system in America.
