Responsibilities
OBXtek has an opening for an Acquisition Program Analyst, Senior on the Staffing and Technical Acquisition Services Support (STAQSS) contract for the Headquarters Air Force. This person will directly support the Air Force Headquarters-level actions regarding programs such as the MQ-1 Predator and the MQ-9 Reaper. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization\u2019s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence.

The Acquisition Program Analyst, Senior tasks for this position include:
Supporting Headquarters Air Force (HAF) budget preparation and defense, SAE oversight and decision-making activities, PEO program execution and oversight efforts of aircraft platforms, and Preparing Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) documentation to ensure they accurately articulate the current program. Reviewing and providing recommendations on existing and proposed Air Force acquisition and capability area policies, implementation, and evaluating the impact of national, DoD, JCS, and civil government policies and activities that affect Air Force acquisition programs and capability areas Identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules. Maintaining historical Air Force weapon program documentation and developing summary documents/briefings and training material. Monitoring on-going studies, analyses, and developmental work relevant to weapon systems. Supporting the HAF review, program-specific efforts, review and provide data to assist in preparation for legislative hearings, program documentation, briefing packages and read-aheads. As well as short notice, providing quick-reaction analyses of critical programmatic issues for stakeholders. Tracking compliance with stated program direction, and identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules. Maintaining and analyzing planning, scheduling, management data, and researching and analyzing program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, program execution, and providing honest broker assessments of programs approaching milestone decisions and of prime contractor technical and operational issues.

Qualifications
Active TS-SCI Clearance

Personnel at the SME level in this position shall have a Master\u2019s degree as well as over 10 years of defense acquisition experience with at least 1 year in a HQ staff position.

Have 5 years\u2019 experience working on or directly supporting MQ-9 development, operations or sustainment

Have deep familiarity with the Air Force requirements development process

Have firm understanding of the various organizations in the involved Med Altitude RPA enterprise and how their role in successful fielding of sustainment modifications and new systems
