Responsibilities
OBXtek is currently staffing for an Information Assurance (IT Security) Specialist 2 to assist at the DHS Customs and Border (CBP) Protection in Washington, DC.

The Information Assurance (IT Security) Specialist 2 shall support the CBP Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) operations by providing the following:
Provide support to CBP Passenger Systems Program Directorate in areas of Information System Security
Activities will be in compliance with all federal security requirements to reduce risk to the enterprise
Work with teams inside of OIT and PSPD to review work products, verify compliance with all DHS and FISMA requirements, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs)
Support will also include the need to create/add/update ATOs (Authorization to Operate) for PSPD applications. This work is time sensitive and will require a schedule-driven approach to meet all milestones during the lifecycle. Coordination with the various teams will be key to success for this work area to include testing and addressing the security controls
Thoroughly understands the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Process
Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards
Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures
Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers\u2019 requirements
Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations
Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands
Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies
Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures
Analyzes and defines security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers
Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements
Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution
Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems


Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen

CLEARANCE: Public Trust

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

SKILLS:
Must be a US Citizen Communication Skills: Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English and understand spoken English 3-5 years experience One of the following certifications is required; CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP Experience with vulnerablity scanning tools (Splunk, Nessus, McAfee, Client WebInspect, AppDetective, BurpSuite, Wireshark, ext) Additional Requested Certification (Desired, Not Required) Security + Ce Network + CCNA Security
