Job Description:

B3 Group Inc, a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in health IT and PMO support for the federal government, is looking for a System Administrator to support a project within the Department of Veterans Affairs. A System Administrator must have experience in conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs. Systems administrators are responsible for maintaining system efficiency. Experience in maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. Must have knowledge of a number of debugging protocols and processes. Must be able to troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions quickly. Must work onsite in Hines, IL.
The Microsoft Exchange Administrator will provide 24x7x365 support for all applications that are part of the VAs Microsoft 365 tenant. This role will provide end-to-end support for Microsoft 365 environments, and Active Directory using the VA Directive 6004 and VA Handbook 6500. This support includes Microsoft Exchange, Mobile email, Teams, Azure RMS, SharePoint, and other MS applications that are included in the VAs current and future Microsoft 365 tenant. This includes all of the following applications and future applications as a part of the Microsoft 365 application suite: Microsoft Messaging /Outlook, Azure Rights Management Services (RMS), Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint under the Microsoft 365 tenant. This is in a hybrid state with Microsoft 365, with the Active Directory on-premise being authoritative. This position will support various technologies such as MS O365, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, Blackberry Works, and Mobile device activation and management.
As a B3 Analyst, you will effectively understand project data to create an overall assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns. A B3 Analyst will be able to identify trends and errors. They will be able to review data and have strong report writing skills. They will work with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting IT business applications and systems.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Technical discipline required, OR a minimum of 8 years equivalent work experience. Prefer at least 5 years of experience of Microsoft Exchange administration experience. Prefer experience in a federal or government setting. Prefer Azure and/or AWS experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong technical documentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Proven track record in demanding, customer service-oriented environment. Ability to communicate clearly with all levels within an organization. Excellent analytical skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to obtain public trust clearance. Desired / Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated experience in the use of Scrum and Agile methodology and processes. Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal organizations. Successful B3 Group employees will display the following characteristics:
