B3 Group Inc. is looking to hire a talented Intersystems Healthshare Integration Engineer that will support the migration of patient data from the VA legacy Electronic Health Record (EHR), VistA, to the new Cerner-based EHR and to facilitate Health Information Exchange (HIE) within VA and with external partners.
A B3 Technical Sr. Analyst will apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems. They will have broad knowledge of data sources/flow, interactions of complex systems, and capabilities/limitations of systems software and computer equipment. The B3 Technical Sr. Analyst will be able to establish frameworks for new computer systems from feasibility studies to post implementation evaluation, recognize probable conflicts and integrate diverse data sources. They will provide innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems, and prepare overall project recommendations.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare data for migration to the Cerner tool. Work with VA stakeholders to ensure proper transfer of appropriate data in a secured environment. Technical integration in deploying InterSystems HealthShare. Introduce new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks. In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Bachelors Degree in computer science, math, engineering or equivalent. 8 years additional experience may be substituted for degree. Position requires at least 5-10 years of relevant work experience. Experience working with EHR systems. Must have expertise of InterSystems suite of products, in particular, Cache, Ensemble, or HealthShare. Ability to coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed. Must be able to use a computer. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form. Must be able to obtain a government security clearance. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting. Desired/Preferred experience:
Working with VISTA. Supporting the federal government, particularly the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Successful B3 Group employees will display the following characteristics:
