Job Title: Desktop Support Senior

Job Description

NetCentrics is looking for a Senior Desktop/Application Support Specialist to support our team at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. The position helps provide Information Technology (IT) services supporting the United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). This position is open only to candidates with an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Specific duties include:

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. • Team Lead reports to Project Manager and Program Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Provide oversight to the Desktop Application Support Team and provide support as needed for customer service for problem resolution in regards to desktop applications that are currently being used/in development/or future requirements that are part of the NETCOM environment. • Quality check all provided inputs to the book of knowledge for each application upon resolution of issues. • Provides desktop support to the user population. • Provides technical assistance and resolution; configures, installs, and troubleshoots computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices in a network environment. • Works with the Fort Huachuca Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and provides the reimage of Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) computers in accordance with approved Army baseline. • Ensures the approved and updated Army software, firmware and drives are properly installed and IAW Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). • Excellent customer service skills is a must, along with verbal and written skills. • Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment. • Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance. • Years of Experience / Education: Must have 10+ years of relative work experience • Certifications: Must be IAT II Certified • As a contingency to employment at NetCentrics, all candidates who are given offers must successfully pass a background investigation including criminal history and reference checks.
