Job Description:

Job Summary

Purpose: This position plans, organizes, develops and executes multiple logistics functions, may include transportation, service, property, supply, inventory and warehousing operations. This position also supports the LNO functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing supply functions in the following areas: Receiving, inspecting, inventory, loading/unloading, segregating, storing, issuing, delivering and turn-in organizational and installation supplies and equipment.Maintains and oversees accountability records.Conducts Inventory briefings.Maintains files in accordance with Army Records Information Management System.Researches and resolves more complex property book / supply system related discrepancies.Operates a variety of software programs tailored specifically to manage logistical functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and other supply chain planning and management systems.Assist units with merging / splitting and transferring of property books, augment cyclic and sensitive item inventories per regulation and assist units in acquiring and expediting supplies from approved source.Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Requirements

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Secret Clearance is required, Interim Clearance not accepted. Experience:
5 yrs. experience as a logistician in Property Book or Supply is required. 2 yrs. Supervisory skills or higher, is preferred Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Thorough understanding and knowledge of inventory management required.Knowledge of U.S. Army inventory management accountings systems.Must be able to perform several tasks at one time, keep detailed records, and simultaneously manage several projects in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to handle unforeseen issues, such as delivery problems, and adjust plans as needed to resolve the issues.Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels (to include multinational staff, superiors and ranking military officers).Ability to prioritize responsibilities to accommodate a demanding workload.Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.An intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook applications is required. Certification & License: Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
