Job Description:
Seeking a Management Analyst to support a federal government application modernization project that is critical coordination of interactions between international and U.S. Law Enforcement stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess experience in working with stakeholders to define business and technical requirements, document current and future state architectures conducting an analysis of alternatives, and assisting in the development of Independent Cost Estimates. Provide technical advisory support in the assessment of application modernization requirements, application interface considerations with other systems, and supporting planning for future state implementation
Responsibilities:
• Document and combine current architect documentation to create a catalog of the as-is architecture
• Engage end-user stakeholders and technical teams to define operational requirements and develop use cases
• Assist in the development and/or review of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) related IT project artifacts
• Assist with the development of acquisition documentation in anticipation of future state solution requirements
Requirements:
• 3 years of directly relevant experience supporting business application modernization analysis and future state planning for government customers
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or highly analytical related field of study
• Superior oral and written communication skills and capability to effectively interface with senior government leadership
• Current background investigation; Department of Justice BI and Secret clearance highly desired
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint) with a specific focus on MS Visio to document/improve visualization of the current architecture
• Familiarity with Agile development is desired
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, or highly analytical related field of study
