Job Description:
Project Manager/Business Systems Analysis with demonstrated in leading teams on application modernization projects for federal government customers. The successful will possess extensive experience in working with stakeholders to define business and technical requirements, document current and future state architectures conducting an analysis of alternatives, and assisting in the development of Independent Cost Estimates. Provide technical advisory support and team leadership in the assessment of application modernization requirements, application interface considerations, and developing future state implementation phase solicitation input
Responsibilities:
• Document and combine current architect to create a catalog of the as-is architecture
• Engage end-user stakeholders and technical teams to define operational requirements and develop use cases
• Support the development of
• Lead the development and/or review of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) IT project artifacts
• Assist with the development of acquisition documentation in anticipation of future state solution source selection requirements
• Serve as the corporate site lead responsible for coordinating client priority requirements, assigning daily taskings to the team (including subcontractor staff), and manage team performance to deliver high-quality services and products
Requirements:
• Over 7 years of relevant business application modernization planning and implementation for government customers
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related field of study
• Demonstrated experience leading projects using disciplined SDLC and generating related artifacts
• Familiarity with Agile development is desired
• Superior oral and written communication skills and capability to effectively interface with senior government leadership
• Current background investigation, Department of Justice BI highly desired
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint)
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related highly analytical field of study
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is desired.
• IIBA Business Analysis certificate is beneficial
