The client is seeking an experienced Program Manager with experience in managing a multidisciplinary team of technical personnel providing a wide-range of IT support services for mission-critical military command networks. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in the areas of ITIL-Foundation, VMware, System Administration, and Information Assurance. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in the development/ implementation of strategies to reduce network/system risk and as a technical advisor on emerging technology trends and practices.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the corporate site lead responsible for coordinating client priority requirements and monitoring team performance to deliver high quality services and products in accordance with performance requirements thresholds
• Lead all efforts to secure and maintain mission critical command networks including systems administration, network engineering, database administration/structured query language (SQL) administration, video teleconferencing support, Tiers 1 – 3 help desk support, and cyber security support to the government Information System Security Manager
• Maintain a broad range of command network technical documentation and submit monthly summary status reports, track and report on help desk service level agreement metrics, and system security status and trends.
Requirements:
• 10 years providing a broad range of IT support for military command networks with over three (3) years direct relevant experience managing multidisciplinary teams of 15 or more personnel
• Superior oral and written communication skills and capability to effectively interface with senior government leadership
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint)
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
• Information Assurance Technical Level II Certification (IAT-II)
• ITIL-Foundation v4 certification
